Over the years I have been asked by many people why I chose to work in immigration law instead of one of the more interesting and exciting fields. This question really just shows how little people know about immigration law in the United States. It is one of the most complicated not to mention dynamic fields of law since the rules are always changing. Usually these changes accomplish nothing but making things more confusing, which of course makes my work all the more interesting.
The main reason that I chose to work in the field of immigration law is that I am a firm believer in the value of immigration. The United States was built by immigrants but unfortunately there are a lot of people who now want to make it very difficult for people to move to the US. Therefore I have decided to dedicate my career to helping people who want to move to the United States to do just that.
One of the other reasons that I have decided to work in immigration law is that there is a huge demand for lawyers in this field. Unfortunately over the years the government has made so many laws regarding immigration and put up so many obstacles for immigrants to overcome that very few of them are able to do it on their own. As a firm believer in the value of immigration I really wanted to be able to help people with this. Of course it also didn't hurt that there were a lot of potential clients as the number of people looking to move to the United States has remained very high and almost all of them now need lawyers.
I also really like the fact that immigration law gives me such a wide scope of practice. In the course a day I can be advising one client on how to increase their chances of being approved, filling out paperwork for another and arguing in court on behalf of somebody else. There are not a lot of other forms of law that allow that much variety. This is directly related to the fact that immigration law has become so complicated. It has certainly made my work more challenging and much more interesting.
If you are looking to immigrate to the United States I would urge you to give me a call to discuss your case. Certainly I can't guarantee that you will be accepted, anybody who says they can is lying and looking to cheat you. What I can say is that I have years of experience at helping people to immigrate and it is the only form of law that I practice. This means that I know exactly what has to be done in order to give you the best chance of being able to become an American.
